Meijer's Rust (2023)

Meijer’s Rust is known for its rugged charm, located in the iconic Meirringspoort mountains. Their goal was to showcase their accommodation - remote, rustic farm stays & neat chalets in the breathtaking mountain scenery - in a way that would resonate with travelers searching for authentic getaways.

 

I approached this shoot with a different perspective - running up mountains to get aerial shots because I don't have a drone, and shooting unconventional angles of rooms.

The result was a collection of images that highlight both the quiet beauty of the Karoo and the inviting character of the accommodation, giving potential guests a sense of what it feels like to arrive and explore.
