Sasol Solar Challenge

The Sasol Solar Challenge is a race where solar cars cross South Africa from Sasolburg to Cape Town to find the most economic travel methods using solar power.

I was flown up to JHB to document the journey, but our team’s solar car rolled on day two after heavy winds. Even though it was cut short, I captured the excitement, teamwork, and ambition that made the event so special.

Despite the challenges, it has been the most fun event I've ever captured - connecting with new minds, seeing a different side of life, and experiencing a different type of adventure.
