Doornkraal Karoo Lamb

This shoot took me far out to a slaughterhouse where the lamb was packaged into boxes.

But when I set up my gear, I flipped the feel completely.

Matte black backgrounds, styled props, and sharp lighting - suddenly it looked like a luxury magazine spread.

 

This shoot was one of the first shoots that made me realize how much I enjoy turning ordinary food into high-end art.
