HORSE RIDE - KLEIN KAROO TO COAST

The Klein Karoo to Coast ride was one of the most exciting shoots I’ve ever done. I wasn’t just taking photos - I was living the adventure with my camera in one hand, holding the reigns in the other.

From crossing rugged terrain to watching the sun drop behind wide mountain views, every moment pulled me in. At Oakhurst and other cottages, I caught the quiet beauty of riders resting after a long day.

 

Out in the mountains, we camped under a sky full of stars, and I kept shooting until the fire died down. My favorite part? Horses cantering freely on the open beach, waves crashing beside them. I had fun, stayed curious, and let my photographer’s eye find the little details that told the bigger story.
